THE Rotary Club of Minehead has made a significant donation for Marie Curie Charity this week.
The collaboration is with the Minehead Lions, to help raise funds for Marie Curie.
Rotarians and Lions took turns to stand at the entrance to Morrisons in Minehead to encourage shoppers to donate their small change to the charity.
In return for a donation the collectors issued a small daffodil badge, the symbol of the Marie Curie charity.
Marie Curie provides vital End of Life care for cancer sufferers and many of those that donated had seen their work at first hand and were happy to help fund them.
Rotary and Lions are two local Service clubs that aims to help the Minehead Community.
