A DRIVING instructor "threatened to kill" a driving examiner, a court has heard.
Adrian Whiting, 52, was yesterday (Wednesday, March 27) found guilty of sending "an offensive/indecent/obscene/menacing message or matter" to Rachel Lincoln.
Taunton Magistrates' Court heard that Whiting, of Claremont Court, Windsor Close, Taunton, even threatened on one occasion to run over and kill Ms Lincoln or beat her to death with a baseball bat.
Magistrates slapped a restraining order on him, fined him £1,125 and ordered him to pay £775 Crown Prosecution Service cost and a £450 victim surcharge.
Whiting's threats made over the phone were laid out in graphic detail to the court.
